Patton Township Parks and Bicycle/Pedestrian Paths
Patton Township parks and bicycle/pedestrian paths are part of what make our community a special place to live. The Board of Supervisors is committed to providing recreational spaces and to connecting these spaces to neighborhoods, schools and businesses. This is demonstrated by the development and adoption of a formalized parks and bicycle/pedestrian path plan.
The most recent plan, the “Patton Township Parks and Bicycle/Pedestrian Path Plan 2020-2029” was adopted by the Board in October of 2020. This document was developed by the Recreation Advisory Committee (RAC) with help from Township staff and begins with a community survey to gather the thoughts of our residents.
The complete document is AVAILABLE THROUGH THIS LINK and provides insight into the goals and visions for the continued development of recreational facilities and connections.
Bicycle Friendly America
The mission of League of American Bicyclists is to lead the movement to create a Bicycle Friendly America for everyone. The Patton Township Board of Supervisors has been very supportive of developing and providing a connected community for all our residents. We have earned a Silver level Bicycle Friendly Community designation. That means a demonstrated commitment to further find ways and opportunities to connect our spaces for bicycles and pedestrians.
