SUMMARY

The State College Borough owns a parcel of land in Patton Township on Hawbaker Industrial Drive that was the former site of the State College Borough landfill. The Borough uses the property for storage and lease part of the site for Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. to operate the Recycle Center. This land development plan will  provide a pad for expansion of the composting operation in anticipation of future compost bins that will be available to Centre Region residents to place compostable waste to be picked up with their regular trash pick-up.
