Patton Township is accepting applications for 2020 police testing. The testing date for the written exam is Saturday, April 11, 2020, May 16, 2020 beginning at 9:00 AM.
The Patton Township Police Department is currently looking for individuals who have an interest in helping people and protecting and serving the community. The Patton Township Police Department, in partnership with our community, provides impartial, ethical, and professional law enforcement service and protection. We strive to maintain the trust and confidence of our citizens while working to improve the quality of life.
Patton Township is part of the State College, Pennsylvania, metropolitan area. The Pennsylvania State University is located in State College and many Patton Township residents are university faculty or staff. Approximately 20% of our residents are Penn State students.
The Patton Township Police Department provides 24-hour police service to approximately 16,000 township residents.
Our department is looking for individuals who are ready to take on the challenge of a career in law enforcement. Applicants must be trustworthy, dependable and have integrity. They must be a team player, but also be able to work independently.
